Established in 2001, Performance Factory was founded by former motocross / supercross mechanic Scotty Hanes. With over 15 years of technical experience in professional racing, Scotty has built a solid reputation as one of the motorcycle industries most trusted technicians. While working in the racing industry, Scotty was able to hone his skills working with top level pro racers, Ivan Tedesco, Jeff Gibson, Grayson Goodman, Brad Woolsey, Damon Bradshaw, Buddy Antunez and many others. 

Scotty has been a contributor of tech articles for numerous magazines , and the book, "Berm" Texas Motocross Chronicles". His work has been featured in bike builds for Cycle News, Dirt Bike magazine, Holeshot   Magazine, and many more.

 Performance Factory has had success while sponsoring many professional and amateur motocross riders over the years with several amateur championships,  victories in Arenacross, top five Supercross finishes, and overall victories in the 4 stroke national series.
